Delivery and returns policy

DELIVERY

Have you confirmed your order and want to know the details of your shipment? Read our policies and delivery instructions, you will soon receive your GIOVE MIO piece! Please note that pieces that are not in stock, and have the option to purchase on request, will take 3 to 4 weeks to be delivered.

-If when confirming your order you chose the "Home delivery" option:
Once your order is confirmed, shipping will take place within 1 to 3 business days in Panama City - and 2 to 3 business days to the interior of the country.

-We do not make deliveries on Sundays or holidays.

-Deliveries within Panama City cost B/. 5.00 and B/. 6.50 for the interior of the country.

-We only deliver the packages of your order to the person authorized to receive the package at the exact address you confirmed in your order.

-We understand that unforeseen events can happen, so in the event that the courier cannot deliver the order because the person authorized to receive the package is not there, or for any other reason beyond your control, we will coordinate a second delivery attempt with you at no additional cost.
A third attempt can be arranged, again paying the shipping cost.

-If when confirming your order you chose the "Pick up in store" option:
You can pick up your order during the following hours: Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6:00pm at Oroitalia Joyeros, Costa del Este, iStrip Mall Plaza.

- Our shipments are very secure, however GIOVE MIO is responsible for the orders until the package is delivered to the customer. If in an unusual event the package is lost, GIOVE MIO may open an investigation with the carrier and will follow up to determine responsibilities. Your trust and satisfaction with your entire shopping experience is our priority.

- For any concerns about an order that has not arrived at its destination within the stipulated time, write to us on WhatsApp to track your delivery.

International Shipping: (This is to be confirmed).

We make international deliveries via UPS, 3-5 days for delivery. (This is to be confirmed and I need to ask you some questions)

Duties and Taxes: Orders shipping to countries outside of Panama will be subject to import taxes, customs fees, and duties levied by the destination country. These charges are the customer's responsibility and will be billed by the delivery company. We have no control over these charges. Duties and taxes are not collected or included in the calculation of your price at the time of your order; for a further estimate of these fees, which vary by country, please contact the customs office in your area.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

For GIOVE MIO, your satisfaction at every stage of your purchases is our priority, that is why it is important for us to guide you through every step of the exchange or return of any of your jewelry pieces purchased with us. Read each of our requirements and instructions to make your changes and if you still have any questions, please contact us through our whatsapp or write to us at ventas@giovemio.com. Requirements and instructions for making your changes and returns:

- We accept merchandise exchanges within a limit of 30 calendar days after purchase and returns for factory damage within our warranty terms.

- All our merchandise is subject to change within the stipulated time, except for merchandise purchased at a promotional discount, or merchandise altered in any way (personalized, size change or any alteration of its original form) in which case it does not apply for changes or returns.

- Exchanges and returns must be made in person at the Oroitalia Joyeros store in Costa del Este, iStrip Mall Plaza.
(For changes to orders sent abroad, the customer must first send an email to ventas@giovemio.com and an agent will contact you to start the change process. The courier costs will be assumed by the customer except for returns due to factory defects. See “Returns due to factory defects”. We do not make changes to 925 Silver in orders from abroad).

- The customer must present the part to be exchanged in its original packaging, in optimal condition, together with the purchase invoice. The part must not have been used. (In case of factory defect, see “Returns due to factory defect”).

- If the piece to be exchanged was received by the customer as a gift and therefore does not have the purchase invoice, the customer must preserve and present the barcode label that comes inside the gift box, along with the piece of jewelry.

- The dollar amount that will be applied to the payment of the new item will be the same amount that was paid for the initial item, including the VAT, as it appears on the purchase invoice. Any difference greater than this amount will be assumed by the customer. Any lesser difference can be applied to another purchase by the customer.

- If the customer prefers to choose the new item at another time, Giove Mio will provide a gift certificate with the corresponding value, to be used on the date the customer wishes. This certificate can be used for purchases in the physical store, exclusively for GIOVE MIO items, or in the GIOVE MIO online store.

- GIOVE MIO only makes exchanges for products or credits for future purchases, however, it will refund money in the event of factory defects, within our warranty terms and according to our return policies for factory defects.

- GIOVE MIO reserves the right to refuse an exchange if one or more of the conditions listed above are not met.

Returns for factory defects:

- In the case of a part being returned due to a factory defect, the warranty terms will apply and the item will be replaced with another item in good condition. If delivery is required in the territory of Panama or the interior of the country, depending on the shipping term in the initial purchase, the company will assume the shipping cost.

- If the same item is not available to replace the defective one, GIOVE MIO will offer the customer options for similar items.

- If the customer does not find a satisfactory replacement item among the options, GIOVE MIO will refund the customer the full amount paid for the defective item and said refund will be made through the payment method used in the initial purchase. To receive the refund, the customer must return the defective item.

- The replacement of the defective part or the refund of the money will be fulfilled within a period of no more than 30 days from the day the customer initiated the return process.

- In the case of returns due to factory defects in items corresponding to orders sent abroad, the customer must first send an email to ventas@giovemio.com and include images of the defective item, the order number or image of the purchase invoice. Once the factory defect is confirmed, a GIOVE MIO agent will contact you to request additional information to manage the replacement, in which case GIOVE MIO will assume the courier costs; or if applicable, to make the respective refund.

- GIOVE MIO reserves the right to reject a return if it does not meet one or more of the conditions listed above or does not comply with the warranty terms.

WARRANTY:

- GIOVE MIO guarantees that all its pieces have been subjected to rigorous quality control, verifying the authenticity of the materials, the secure setting of the gems, the correct functioning of its components and the final finish.

- The gold, silver, precious and semi-precious stones of each piece of jewelry will always correspond to the characteristics detailed in the description of each piece.

- We offer a 1-year warranty against factory damage. Our warranty does not include deterioration caused by exposure to external agents or wear and tear due to excessive, inappropriate use or accidents, loss, alterations or damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized service centers.

- Our rhodium-plated gold pieces (which gives gold its silvery colour) suffer natural wear over time and with use, therefore our guarantee does not include periodic maintenance of the piece, which consists of renewing the plating. The same applies to our gold-plated 925 Silver pieces.
